US Customs and Border Protection for international visitors
For those entering the United States through San Francisco International Airport (SFO), the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is proud to welcome you, and it shares the following links to facilitate your travel:
- Global Entry provides expedited clearance for pre-approved travelers.
- Mobile Passport Control allows travelers from the U.S. and Canada to streamline the customs process by inputting travel information into an authorized app. Android and iPhone users can download the free app from the Google Play Storeand Apple App Store.
- Automated Passport Control (APC) is available for U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, international visitors traveling on a B-1 or B-2 visa, and some visa-waiver travelers. Travelers will find 40 blue APC machines in more than 30 languages at SFO customs.
Those with travel visas are directed to a line to speak with a Customs and Border Protection agent.
